Brausch, William A. “Bill”, age 81, of Rochester, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on June 12, 2014. Bill was born near Roseville, Wisconsin on March 24, 1933. He proudly served his country in the Army, stationed in Germany. On September 8, 1962 he married Patrica B. Pemper at St. Thomas Church in Waterford. In his early life, Bill worked for a cheese factory near Roseville and later was employed for many years at the Burlington Brass Works. He enjoyed gardening and he spent much time in his favorite local park: Pioneer Park in Rochester. In his younger days he liked to hunt and fish. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Patricia, four children: Thomas Brausch, Barbara York, John Brausch and Bradley (Carrie) Brausch; grandchildren: Jesse and Nicole Brausch, Amanda, Karmen and Kayla Rodriguez, Wendell, Payton, Chandra and Cheyanne Brausch; great-grandchildren: Baylee Brausch, Tiana, Taliah and Charles Rodriguez. He is also survived by one brother: Ernest Johnson of Florida, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Mae Brausch. A Memorial Gathering willl be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 9-11 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street, Waterford. The Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 AM with inurnment to follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy Bill's family suggests memorials to "Racine County Parks – Pioneer Park Preservation." Family wishes to thank the Aurora VNA Hospice Nurses, especially Susan who provided comfort; Chaplain Angie for her caring words and Dr. Paul Webber for his care and concern for our dear Father and Husband, Bill.
