Susan Banna was born November 11, 1959, in Burlington, WI. She grew up in Wind Lake, WI and attended Muskego High School. Although her life may have been shorter than most, her life experiences were full of excitement, laughter and love.
Susan was the life of the party and loved to laugh. She was a prolific writer and kept journals year after year of the activities in her life, her hopes, and her dreams. They are a comfort to her daughter, Emily, who enjoys reading about her mother’s life. Her favorite saying was to her daughter was “I love you to Pluto and beyond.”
Susan never failed to call each family member and friends on their birthdays with a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday. She had a kind and gentle heart and was always there to give a helping hand to those in need.
Susan passed away peacefully in her home on August 13, 2021, at 60 years young. She is survived by her only daughter, Emily Rose. She is further survived by her mother, Rosaline Banna, her sisters Katherine (Lee) Amann, Barbara Danza, Mary Beth (Mik) Kafka, Paulette (Malcolm) Fowlie, Denise (Terry) Sibley and Ellen Anderson-Kieffer. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her father John, four brothers-in-law: Martin, Nick, John, Rick.
Memorial Gathering will be September 18, 2021, at St Clare Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz Street, Wind Lake, WI from 11:00 AM – 12:45PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy memorials are suggested to her daughter Emily Rose, to be distributed as per Susan’s wishes.
