Mr. Steven Becker

Becker, Steven J. Age 48 of Waterford Died peacefully at home on June 9, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Steve was born in Waterford on September 7, 1960 to Patrick and Marian (nee. Petroviak) Becker. Lifetime resident of Waterford, graduated from Waterford Union High School in 1978. He married Jacqueline Dettinger March 11, 1989 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Steve found great enjoyment in the outdoors, which included fishing, especially in Alaska and Canada. Spending time hunting and motorcycle riding, and being with his family, friends and his dogs. Steven Worked 25 years at Growing Systems in Milwaukee as a Welder and Fabricator, during his working life with Growing Systems he traveled to Russia, New Zealand and Mexico. Steve was Past Vice-President and extremely active member of the Green Valley Sportsman Club. He is survived by his wife Jackie, Son Jacob, Mother and Father, Brother: David (Dylan) Becker, Mother and Father-In-Law: William and Leahrae Dettinger, Godchild: Lacey Whyte, other family and many friends. Proceeded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles. Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 13, 2009 12:00 Noon at the funeral home with Reverend Frederick Bischoff officiating. Visitation in the funeral home Saturday 9-11:30 AM. Burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery Waterford following services. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family.
