Mrs. Shirley Strehlow

Strehlow, Shirley R. (nee. Preusser) age 88, of Muskego, passed away at her residence with her family by her side on Easter Sunday morning, April 5, 2015. She was born in Milwaukee on February 17, 1927, the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (nee. Kriefall) Preusser. After graduating high school and attending college she married Gordon A. Strehlow on January 16, 1954 in West Allis. They lived in West Allis and Morton Grove, IL. Shirley was a homemaker and had also worked as a secretary.

Shirley is survived by three children: Scott Strehlow of St. Louis, MO; Susan (James) Hanson of the Town of Norway and Sherry Strehlow of Muskego; grandchildren: Samantha and Spencer; sister: Betty (Walter) Chrisman; sister-in-law: Delores Strehlow; and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gordon and brother-in-law Kenneth Strehlow.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, WI 53185. Visitation in the Church on Thursday from 4-5:45 PM. Burial will take place on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:45 AM at Arlington Park Cemetery, 4141 South 27th Street, Greenfield WI, 53221. Please meet at the cemetery. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy her family suggests memorials be made to Norway Lutheran Church or The American Cancer Society.
