Mrs. Shirley Mae Koch

Koch, Shirley M., age 89, of Waterford, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2018. Shirley was born in Oshkosh on August 21, 1928 the daughter of John and Mabel Scheuerman. Shirley spent many years as the head cook at Racine Labor Center. Shirley loved to travel. Her favorite destination was Hawaii where she spent several vacations. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting and a good game of Jarts.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her son: James (Susan); grandchildren: Andrew (Stacy), Nicole (Ryan), Mark (Amanda), Stacey (Michael); eight great-grandchildren: Everett, Logan, Lilly, Devin, Jordan, Emma, Joshua, and Silas. She is further survived by two sisters: Virginia and Rose, and one brother: Einer, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert, daughter: Mary Jo, her brothers: Edward and Mike, and sister: Caroline.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 2-4 PM in the funeral home, with services beginning at 4:00 PM with Deacon Jim Nickel officiating.
