Mrs. Ruth Phyllis Edwards (nee: Corlett)

Edwards, Ruth Phyllis, age 80, of Waterford, passed away unexpectedly with her loving family by her side on October 15, 2022. Ruth was born to Howard and Hildegarde (nee. Wichtel) Corlett in Milwaukee, WI on August 18, 1942. Ruth grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Rufus King High School. Ruth met the love of her life, Todd Edwards, at a church function in 1963. They were united in marriage on October 2, 1965, at First Evangelical United Brethren Church. Ruth worked in the office at Lane Bryant, a women’s clothing manufacturer, for years before staying home to raise her family. Ruth was a member of Norway Lutheran Church in the town of Norway. Ruth loved her yard, (disliked weeds), gardening, especially flowers, cooking, and baking for her family. Ruth was always a people person and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Surviving Ruth are her three children, Elissa Bass, Rachael, and Karl; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband Todd, other relatives, and friends.
There will be no services at this time. In lieu of floral donations of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to help with the funeral expenses. Thank you in advance, God bless.
