Russell O. Storm

Storm, Russell O., age 89, of the Town of Waterford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Mt. Carmel Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Burlington. He was born on his family’s farm in the Town of Norway on May 6, 1920, the son of the late John and Madeline (nee. DeBack) Storm. He spent his early life on the farm and attended Apple School. As a young boy he was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Waterford. Russell was a lifelong farmer who thoroughly enjoyed his animals, especially his beloved dog, Sam! Russell was married first to Jane Spires, whom survives him. He later married Loraine Morrell, whom preceded him in death on May 11, 1990. Russell is survived by his three children: Russ R. (Rosemary) of Waterford; Jeanne (Francis) Schwass-Long of Stoughton and Randall Storm of Waterford. He is also survived by his stepchildren; grandchildren: Jeff (Tammie) Storm, Wendy (Tom) Revolinski, Andrea (Mark) Zukor, Christopher (Renee) Schwass, Debra (Dave) Storm-Voltz, Becky (Dave) Storm and Barbara (Scott) Blazina, seventeen great-grandchildren, brother: Robert (Darlene) Storm of the Town of Norway, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his second wife Loraine, sisters: Eleanor Buse, Dorothy Niederer and Beverly Storm. Services will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 2:30 PM in the Funeral Home with Reverend Frederick Bischoff officiating. A Memorial Gathering with the family in the Funeral Home on Sunday prior to services from 12:30 to 2:30 PM. Private family inurnment at Oakwood Cemetery in Waterford will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Waterford. The Family wishes to thank Dr. Lief Erickson Sr. and all of the nurses and staff at Mt.
