Ms Rose Larson

Larson, Rose M., Age 59, of New Berlin, passed away February 27, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born in Burlington on January 13, 1955, the daughter Leroy G. and Dorthea Larson. She attended Sunnyside Graded School in Kansasville and graduated from Burlington High School. She then obtained a four year degree in Physical Education and Health Education from UW-Whitewater. Rose lived the past 10 years in New Berlin and was a former custodian at Waterford Graded School. She was a member of English Settlement Church. She enjoyed sports, including playing softball and watching the Packers and WI Badgers. She also enjoyed baking and gardening. Rose is survived by her father: Leroy G. Larson of the Town of Dover; two sisters: Patricia (Bob Hensgen) Larson and Kathy Larson, special friends: Diane Splinter, Lisa Dawson and Jeff Braatz, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother: Dorthea “Dot” Larson. Services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014, 7:00 PM at English Settlement Church, 28215 Plank Road, (Corner of Hwys A and J), Burlington, WI with Pastor Barry Watson officiating. Visitation prior to services IN CHURCH on Monday from 4- 6:45 PM. Burial in the Church Cemetery on Tuesday, March 4th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, Rose's family would appreciate memorials be given to either the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
