Mr. Ronald Westerdahl

Westerdahl, Ronald,”Ron” age 79, of Bruce, WI (formerly of Waterford) passed away after a short battle with cancer on June 9, 2016. He was born in Burlington, Wisconsin on July 23, 1936 the son of Neil and Irma Westerdahl. Ron worked 30 years in Kenosha for American Motors. In 1974 he married Sharon Block Hewitt in Wind Lake and they had six children. They moved from the Waterford area to the Town of Bruce in Rusk County, WI in 1998. Ron was a member of the Tichigan Lions Club and Green Valley Sportsmen’s Club.


Ron is survived by his loving wife Sharon, daughters: Rhonda (Bob) Nessler, Stacie (Joe) Zimmerman, Tammie (Jeff) Storm, Carla Dingel, sons: James Westerdahl and Douglas Westerdahl, grandchildren: Neil Westerdahl, Kayla (Preston) Daiglee, Jessica Storm, Nathan and Ashley Dingel, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Donald and one sister Audrey Sloan.


Memorial Services will be held on Saturday June 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Norway Lutheran Church - 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, Wisconsin 53185. Visitation in Church from 1:00 -2:00 PM Saturday with inurnment to follow services at Norway Hill Cemetery.
