Mr. Ronald "Ron" "Rock" Alan Johnson

Johnson, Ronald “Ron” "Rock" Alan, age 77, passed away Saturday, December 18, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa with his loving family by his side. Ron was born to Russell and Olene (nee: Hanson) Johnson on April 27, 1944 in Burlington. Ron was a lifelong Tichigan resident educated at Washington Elementary and Waterford Union High Schools. After his graduation, Ron worked for Wisconsin Bell/AT&T until his retirement. Ron met the love of his life, Nancy Michuls, at a function near Browns Lake and they were married at Norway Lutheran Church on May 28, 1966. Ron had an appreciation for classic cars and attended many car shows. Chances are you may have seen him at one. Ron enjoyed going up north to his lake cabin in Eagle River where he could be found fishing, boating, snowmobiling or simply relaxing with friends by a bonfire with a Coors Lite. He also had a passion for golf. Ron served his country in the National Guard. Ron will be remembered for his friendly personality and quick wit. He had many good friends and a love for his family. He will be truly missed and his memory will be treasured by those who knew him.
Ron is survived by his son: Todd Johnson (Diane Sass); two brothers: Bob Johnson (Carol), Tom Johnson (Jan): one sister: Judy (Jack) Strasser, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife.
