Robert “Bob” Joseph Miller
Robert J. Miller, 97, passed away peacefully, as he wished, at home on November 9, 2023. He was born in Portage, WI, on February 25, 1926, to the late Harry and Irene (Waite) Miller. Bob was born the second of eight children. He married the love of his life, Ida Mary Miller, on September 1, 1951, in the Catholic church of Gesue. They were married 61 years until her passing on April 4, 2012.
He is survived by daughters Nancy Solin, Judy (Bill) Basham and Susie Miller, grandchildren: Shane Taylor, Cindy Miller, Samantha Boneck, Elizabeth Suwyn, Nathan Basham, Katie Basham, Daniel Gawrysiak, great grandchildren: Natalie Rivera, Jaden Rogers and Rylee Rogers. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings, and three sons: Harley, Donald, and Robert Miller
Visitation will be held 9AM-10:15AM Tuesday, November 14, 2023 @ St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Faith Community (305 S. 1st St. Waterford, WI 53185), with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30AM. Interment St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery.
