Mr Robert Frank Maurice

Maurice, Robert Frank, age 87, of Waterford, passed away with his loving family by his side on April 19, 2015. Robert was born in Kenosha, WI on April 10, 1928. He lived in Kansasville and graduated high school from St. Mary’s in Burlington. On June 11, 1955 he married Joan M. Sabin in Brighton, WI. Robert was a dairy farmer for most of his life and upon retiring took up woodworking. He specialized in making gliders and children’s toys which he sold at local craft fairs. He loved gardening and watching his family grow.
Robert is survived by his wife: Joan; two children: Darleen Maurice, Doreen (Gary) Hennig; one brother: Raymond (Helen) Maurice; two sisters: Rita Kemen, Mae Robers; six grandchildren: Jennifer Hennig, Bill Loftus, Aaron Loftus, Aimee (Mike) Harrison, Kristen Loftus, Dana (Ryan) Hubacek; two great-grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Renata Placzkowski and Sister Mary Eugena; one brother: Eugene Maurice; and three brothers-in-law: Micky Robers, Allie Kemen and Leonard Placzkowski.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 4-6 PM. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 S. First St. Waterford, with Mass starting at 6 PM. Burial will take place on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Thomas Cemetery in Waterford. Please meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy Robert’s family suggests memorials be made to Aurora VNA Hospice or St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
