Richard Fisher

Richard (Dick) A. Fisher Sr. passed away on January 9th, 2025. Dick was born on August 5th, 1932. He graduated from North Division High School and later served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the Army. He went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Dick previously worked as a personnel director for the Milwaukee Athletic Club and was a WIAA basketball official for 40 years.

 Dick was married to the love of his life Nancy (Zimdars) Fisher in 1958. Dick and Nancy enjoyed traveling and made it to all 50 states before her passing in 2012. Together, they resided in Cedarburg for 44 years. Dick spent the last 10 years living in the Waterford area near his family. 

 Dick is survived by his sons Richard A. Fisher Jr. (Dallas, TX) and David (Windy) Fisher; grandchildren Zach Fisher and Max (Sara) Fisher all of Waterford, WI. 

 Memorial visitation will be held 4:30PM-6:15PM on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025, at The Cotton Exchange (345 Hickory Hollow Rd, Waterford, WI 53185), with a short memorial service to follow at 6:30PM. A private family burial in Cedarburg at a later date. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dick’s name are appreciated to Waterford Youth Football or B.A.M. Training Center
