Richard A. Beck

Beck, Richard A. “Tony” Age 77 of Waterford Passed away at his residence in Waterford June 17th, 2007. He was born Feb. 14, 1930 on River Street in Waterford to Anthony and Laura (nee. Falk) Beck. He was a 1944 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas Graded School of Waterford and a 1948 Graduate of Waterford Union High where he lettered in Football all four years and in 1947 he received the Rockrohr-Skarie award for his athletic ability in high school football. Tony also lettered in basketball for three years and baseball for two years. He spent the majority of his working life in the Carpentry and Masonry fields retiring from Jens Construction of Pewaukee in 1999. Also working for J.W. Peters of Burlington along with Modrak Construction and for a while self-employed with his own company. Tony always had a smile on his face and brought cheer and laughter to many. He will be greatly missed by everyone who’s life he touched! Survived by cherished Fiancé Jane Pheifer, loving children: John (Karen) Beck – Carrollton, Georgia, Patti (Tim Draskovich) Beck, Rick (Cindy) Beck both of Waterford & Jeff Beck of Phoenix, Arizona. Also survived by grandchildren: Katie, Jacquelyn, and John Beck Jr., Tom and Greg Treffinger & Sean Baumeister, along with Step-Grandchildren: Abbee, Lindsee & Chrisee. Two brothers survive Tony: Robert (Bernice) Beck and Paul (Mary) Beck. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday June 22nd at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church 305 South First Street (Hwy 20) Waterford at 10:00 A.M with Reverend Gene Doda Jr. officiating.
