Mr. Raymond Joseph Utzinger

Utzinger, Raymond J., age 79, of Waterford, passed away on March 15, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Ray was born to Joseph and Anna (nee. Huber) Utzinger on September 29, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI. After high school Ray enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 17 and was stationed on an island in the Korean Straits. On June 18, 1966 Ray married the love of his life, Darlene Weston in Waukegan, IL. They are 24 year residents of Waterford. Ray was an ironworker and a proud member of Ironworkers Local #8 for 58 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and navigating his pontoon boat up and down the river and around Tichigan Lake.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Darlene and son: John.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son: Joseph and brother: Richard.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday March 19, 2016 from 2 – 4 PM in the Funeral Home with services starting at 4 PM. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy Ray’s family would appreciate memorials made to the Utzinger family.
