Gagnon, Ray P. Age 74 of Waterford formerly New Berlin passed away at home Tuesday January 18th. Born in Gervais Township, Red Lake Falls County, Minnesota on March 21, 1936 the son of the late George and Anna (nee.Kotlan) Gagnon. Ray spent his early life in Minnesota where he graduated high school. On July 2, 1966 he married Arlene Mary Szymakowski at St. John Kanty Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple first lived in St. Francis, spent most of their working life in New Berlin and the past 5 years in Waterford. Ray was an excellent electrician retired from General Mills. He was a current member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Wind Lake. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1963, and served many years in the 144th reserve in Milwaukee. Ray enjoyed being outdoors planting flowers or bird watching. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years Arlene, three daughters: Marianne (Joe) Zubarik, Diane (Special Friend Dan Bay) and Joanne Grudzinski. Proud grandfather of Ashley and Aaron Grudzinski, Erika, Joey and Julia Zubarik. Further survived by one brother Vernon, sisters in law: Carol, Val and Jean Gagnon, other family and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents, his son George, along with his brothers Robert and Lloyd. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz Road, Wind Lake, Wisconsin on Saturday January 22nd at 11:00 AM with Reverend Aurelio Perez officiating.
