Mrs. Phyllis Edna Hoppe (nee: Bornfleth)

Hoppe, Phyllis E., age 91, of Mukwonago, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on September 14, 2018. Phyllis was born in Big Bend, Wisconsin on March 28, 1927 to Arthur and Edna (nee. Barton) Bornfleth. She completed school with a degree in accounting. Phyllis met the man of her dreams in William H. Hoppe and they were married on February 17, 1951 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Phyllis worked for the Elks Club for 14 years as a bookkeeper as well as many other businesses throughout her life. Her greatest love was for her family, she will be sadly missed.
Phyllis is survived by five children, Douglas (Sharon), Floyd, Doretta (Gregory) Oaklief, Dana (Vicki), Betty (Chris Suda) Lohman; one sister, Caroline (Donald) Wieselmann; fifteen grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband and sister Dorothy.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 410 County Rd NN, Mukwonago, WI 53149. Service will begin at 11:00 AM with burial at Rural Home Cemetery to follow. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy Phyllis’s family suggest memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
