Mr. Peter Lux

Lux, Peter J., age 66, of Rochester, formerly of Burlington, a friend of many and loved by all Peter passed peacefully on May 19, 2018 at Burlington Memorial Hospital. Peter was born to John and Diana (nee. Hindryckx) Lux on February 6, 1952 in Burlington; Peter had 3 excited sisters waiting for him at home. He attended St. Mary’s graded and High School and graduated from U.W. Whitewater in 1974. Peter worked with his mother and sister Patricia in Lux’s Gift Shop in Burlington. He was a professional painter, working in the Burlington area until his recent illness. On September 16, 1989, he married Robin Winski in a garden ceremony in Rochester. They made their home in Burlington and Rochester.
He is survived by his wife Robin, sisters: Jo Ann Stevens, and Patricia(James) Herda; brothers – in-law: James Phillips, Thomas(Gayam) Winski, Greg(JoAnn) Winski; sister-in-law: Melissa(Joe) Wassenberg, father-in-law: Henry “Hank” Winski, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear aunt: Virginia Cordes.
Joining them in a better place are his parents, sister Irene Phillips, nephew Timothy Stevens, niece De Niene Harris, mother-in-law Yvonne Winski, sister-in-law Susie Winski, aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Gathering with family will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the Funeral Home from 4-6:30 PM. Services to begin at 6:30 PM with Deacon Carl Mahnke.
Our families thank the people at Wal-Mart who cared enough to help Peter, Burlington Rescue Squad and all the professionals at Burlington Hospital ICU and a special “Thank You” to Dr. Haider for his care.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to the family.
