Mrs. Patricia Kovatz (nee.deGuerre)

Kovatz, Patricia A. “Pat” (nee. deGuerre) age 88, of Burlington, formerly of the Town of Norway, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Arbor View Assisted Living in Burlington. Pat was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 17, 1925. She was a telephone operator for Illinois Bell. She and her family moved to the Town of Norway in Racine County where they raised beef and sheep on the farm. Pat married Larry Kovatz and they lived in West Allis for some time. After Larry passed away in 1989, Pat returned to the farm. She has lived in Burlington for the past few years. Pat was an animal lover and she especially adored her cats. She is survived by nieces: Regina (Brian) Rickel of Boulder, CO; Pat Holcom and Georgia Jean (Frank) Hill; nephews: Rob, John and Paul Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Larry, sisters: Toni and Jeanne and brother: Pierre’. A private burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery has taken place.
