Roos, Nuoc Norman, age 44, of Burlington, passed away on January 1, 2018 with his loving family at his side. He was born in Vietnam on October 2, 1973 and at 9 months old he was adopted by parents James and Christine Roos in Evanston, Illinois. Nuoc was a graduate of Evanston Township High School. He lived for many years of his life in Evanston, Illinois before moving to Racine, Wisconsin in 1993. He met the love of his life, Karman, and on September 25, 1999 the couple was married at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford. Nuoc worked as a cook and was a huge sports fan, supporting the Bulls and Bucks basketball, Brewers baseball, and the Bears football teams whenever he could. Nuoc will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Nuoc is survived by his wife Karman of Burlington, parents: Roy James and Christine (nee. Schuldt) Roos of Tennessee, brother: William Roos of California, sisters: Sara (Darryl) Brown of Tennessee, and Molly Laird of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Nuoc was a very proud uncle of Houston, Justin, and Ethan Brown; Caroline, Wyatt and Aaron Laird; and Chase, Alyssa and Jake Gunnell. He is further survived by mother and father-in-law: Mary and Thomas Mott, and by other relatives and family friends.
Preceded in death by grandpa: Norman, and grandma: Phyllis Schuldt and grandma: Lillian Longo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 12:00-2:00pm with the service starting at 2:00pm. at the Funeral Home. Family is requesting that everyone wear their favorite sports team outfit to the visitation and service.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to the family. Checks payable to: Karman Roos, to be dispersed as Nuoc wished.
