Nancy Eileen Pachucki

August 19, 1957 — January 31, 2025

Formally from Lancaster, PA, passed peacefully at Aurora Zilber Hospice in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, on January 31st, 2025, after 5 ½ years of her courageous battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Douglas Pachucki. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sisters Dr. Patricia Shoemaker, Carol Brown (David), Barbara Imhoff (Larry), and MaryEllen Knosp (Jere), all in PA. Five nieces and seven nephews are in PA, CO, and DE. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Caroline Shoemaker, and her brother, Thomas. She will be profoundly missed and remembered for her kindness, intelligence, passion, wit, and unwavering willingness to support those she loves. Nancy graduated at the top of her class for paralegal law at Concordia University and worked at a law firm for three years. She then became the paralegal for her husband’s law practice, where she organized and sustained the firm. Her loved ones will cherish her memories of joy at the beach, her passion for books, her admiration for Bon Jovi, her love for Drum and Bugle Corps shows, and her culinary talents and baking skills.

She was loved like a second parent to her neighbor, Kathryn Sandoval (WI), and her niece, Alisha Knosp (DE), and nephew, Justin Knosp (PA). Additionally, she will be remembered for her infinite love for animals, especially her two beloved golden retrievers, Molly and Brandy.

Throughout the years, Nancy loved playing golf with her husband on several golf courses. She actively participated in organizing community events like the Wind Lake Street Fair and co-lead a Girl Scout Troop. Nancy enjoyed spending time on the Police Commission and with a lady's Bunko group that became her friends and family. She treasured her Wisconsin sisters: Debbie Gerkhardt, Sharon Adamczyk, Char Pesch, Lori Schwanz, and Terry Carow. Nancy was truly the "light" in the lives of many people who adored her.
