Mrs. Nancy Larsen

Larsen, Nancy, age 81, of Waterford, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine on August 6, 2010. She was born January 12, 1929 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Fred and Eleanor (nee. Stelz) Retzlaff. She was a graduate of a Milwaukee area high school. Nancy married Edwin W. Larsen and the couple raised two children, Fred and Judy. Edwin preceded her in death. She later married Ronald Kreuscher whom has also preceded her in death. Nancy was a member of Norway Lutheran Church. She was involved in many of the church activities, including altar guild, and training acolytes. She was a foster caregiver and foster parent to two boys, Allen Exner and Brian Hollanbach. She took pride in helping young people build a future for themselves. Nancy is survived by her son, Fred Larsen, her daughter, Judy Nerone of Arizona, two grandchildren: Jack (Jen) Larsen of Milwaukee and Valerie Nerone, one great grandson: Teddy Larsen. Her foster son, Brian Hollanbach, also survives her, as do other relatives and friends Preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Edwin Larsen, and her second husband Ronald Kreuscher and her foster son Allen Exner. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, August 13th, 9-11 AM at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Rd, Wind Lake, WI, 53185. Services in Church at 11 AM.
