Mr. Melvin Moyer

Moyer, Melvin Harold, age 83, passed away on March 18, 2013 at Lakeview Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital in Waterford, WI. He was born in Milwaukee, was a graduate of Burlington High School and a Korean War veteran. On July 3, 1954, Melvin married Mavis Dudgeon of Coal City, IL. They resided in Rochester for 20 years and for 37 years in Honey Creek. He worked as a rubber compounder at Lavelle Industries for over 40 years. He much enjoyed TV, the Packers, yard work and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Mavis, daughter: Lisa Clark, grandchildren: Starla and Hunter, of Lindenhurst, IL, and older brother: Roy Moyer. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Rose Moyer, and younger brother: Leonard. A Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 1 - 3 p.m. at Mealy Funeral Home, 225 W. Main St., Waterford, WI 53185.
