Mr. Melvin "Mel" Donaldson

Donaldson Melvin H. “Mel” 89 of Waterford passed away March 13, 2014. Born October 18, 1924 in Rochelle Illinois the son of the late William and Lottie Donaldson. Spent his early life in Rochelle and Married Joan A Neuman in Waukegan, Illinois. Proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II and Korean War. Survived by loving wife of almost 55 years Joan, Children:Shelby (John); Debbie; Robert (Linda); James (Rachel); Richard and Susan (Russ). Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren other relatives and friends. Services Tuesday March 18, 2014 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Visitation Tuesday 10-11:30. Burial at Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove 1:00 Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
