Mary Lou Schneiker

Schneiker, Mary Lou, age 83, of Waterford, formerly of Glendale, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2016. Mary Lou was born on March 31, 1933 to Edward and Eva Ring (nee. Payne) Johnson in Duluth, MN. She later moved to Milwaukee to attend nursing school and was a 1955 graduate of the Milwaukee School of Nursing. On May 12, 1956 she married John Schneiker at St. Emerics Roman Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She retired from St. Michael's Hospital after 32 years of service as a Registered OB Nurse. Mary Lou was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Waterford and a former member Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. She enjoyed being with family and volunteering in the community, including her church. Mary Lou will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Mary Lou is survived by her children: Scott (Laurie) Schneiker, Susan (Dennis) Skalla, Kerri Schneiker and companion Cheri Kordes. She was the proud grandma of Ryan, Shawn, Nicole, Andrea and Kelli Schneiker, Steve Skalla, and Tracey Burghduff. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren. Mary Lou is further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law: Hilda Schneiker, Elizabeth and Joe Lazar, and Craig Lamp; and by other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband John and one son: Kelli Schneiker.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 4-6 pm with services starting at 6 pm at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 145 S. Sixth Street, Waterford, WI 53185. There will be a graveside service held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capital Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005 . If you are attending please meet in the green section of parking lot at 10:45 am.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate memorials to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
