Young, Mary Jane, 91, of Cudahy, formerly of Waterford, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at her residence. Mary Jane was born July 29, 1924 to William and Verna West in Milwaukee. It was while living in Milwaukee that Mary Jane met and married Wilbur Young. They were married March 27, 1943, after marriage they moved to Waterford to raise their family.
Mary Jane was a member of the Girl scouts, The Lioness, she volunteered at Burlington Memorial Hospital and was very involved at St. Thomas Church in Waterford, but most of all she loved her family.
Mary Jane is survived by her 5 children; Anita (Dave) Zdrojewski of Cudahy, Ann (Larry) Young – Jones of North Carolina, William (Joan) Young of Fennimore, Cynthia (Doug) Beula of Crivitz, and Sharon (Ken) Morris of Cudahy. Also survived by her grandchildren; Tracey, Kim, Dan, Smitty, Jason, Jacob, Marissa, Taylor, Stephen and John. She is further survived by 18 great grandchildren, and her sisters Dorothy Wendt and Carol Sheeran.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her Parents; William and Verna West and her husband Wilbur Young.
There will be a visitation on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Nativity of the Lord – 3672 E. Plankinton Ave. Cudahy, WI 53110. Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation.
