Mrs. Lydia Maerzke

Maerzke, Lydia Dorothy (nee.Bork) age 85 of Waterford passed away on November 30, 2012. She was born Jan. 4, 1927 the daughter of the late Richard and Hedwig (nee.Bahr) Bork. On September 2, 1950 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dover she married the love of her life John Charles Maerzke. John passed away on January 13, 2008. Lydia was devoted member of St. Thomas Church and a former member of the Third Order of St. Francis in Burlington. Lydia was a proud homemaker and Mom to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to Knit and Sew. She was a loving Christian who lived her Catholic Faith and is now in heaven with her beloved husband Johnny. She will be missed by all those who loved her.
