Mrs. Louise Lois

Lois, Louise C., age 101, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Linden Grove of Mukwonago. Louise was born in Waterford on October 29, 1911, the daughter of the late Ben and Christina (nee. Tempenny) Ketterhagen. She spent her early life in Waterford where she attended St. Thomas Graded School and graduated from Waterford High School. She married Elmer A. Lois at St. Thomas Church. He preceeded her in death on December 19, 1987. The couple had lived in Rochester all their married lives. Louise worked for the Village of Rochester Post Office and the Village Clerk’s office, collecting yearly taxes. She was also a homemaker and worked seasonally at the Bock and Mohr Mink Ranch in Rochester. She enjoyed her family and loved to spend time in her garden. Louise is survived by one son: Charles (Judy) Lois of Rochester, grandchildren: John C. Winski, Christina (Mark) Robertson, Lori (Edward) Mansur, Linda (Eric) Hufford, Lisa (Dennis) Reilly and Charles (Jill) Lois, great-grandchildren: Evan, Megan, Chelsy, Michael, Alex, Gary, Cindy, Austin and Maddie. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband: Elmer, daughter: Marian Winski, infant children: Janet and twin sons: Thomas and Terrence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street, Waterford. Visitation in Church on Thursday from 10-10:45 AM. Burial in the Church Cemetery following Mass.
