Kriplin, Loretta M., (nee. Oven) age 94, of Tichigan, passed away at Ruth Hospice in West Allis on Friday, March 20, 2015. She was born in Duluth, MN on August 3, 1920 the daughter of the late Fred and Mildred (nee. Burgert) Oven. The family moved to Milwaukee where she graduated Lincoln High School. She married Louis W. Kriplin Sr. in 1951 and they lived on the family farm in Tichigan. For many years Loretta was a Machinist working for Amron Corp. She was a member of the Tichigan Fire Company Auxiliary for over 50 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and a member of the bowling league at Corky's Wind Lake Bowl. Loretta loved to attend rummage sales.
Loretta is survived by two Children, Skip (Cathy) Hall of West Allis and Louis W. Kriplin Jr. of Tichigan Lake; two Grandchildren, Catherine Velaquez and Duane Hall; two Great-grandchildren, Emma Velaques and Maddy Hall; one Brother-in-law: Bill Hildbrant of Mequon, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis, Parents, two Brothers and six Sisters.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 5:30 PM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 145 South 6th Street, Waterford, WI. Visitation is prior to services in Church on Tuesday from 4 - 5:15 PM.
