Harry, Lois J. (nee. Hegeman) age 84 of Waterford passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 31, 2022, at Pine Brook Pointe in Burlington with her loving family at her side. Lois was born in Milwaukee on January 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Leonard and Frieda (nee. Heubner) Hegeman. Her family moved to Waterford during her grade school years. She was a graduate of Waterford Union High School. On May 30, 1958, she married Joseph “Joe” Harry at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford. Lois was the proud owner of the Cedar Shack in Waterford where she prepared flower arrangements and gift ideas for her customers, family, and friends. The shop was a major portion of her happiness and her life. Lois was a devout Catholic and member of St. Thomas Church where she used her talents to decorate for Christmas, Easter, and many other events. She practiced her faith by helping others whenever they were in need. Lois loved spending time with her family, planning birthday parties and family gatherings. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Survived by loving husband Joe, four children, John, Jim (Kim), Leonard (Debi), and Joe Harry; daughter-in-law Carol Harry, grandchildren, Andrew (Taylor), Erica, Matthew, Madelyne, Eli, Sam (Ashtyn) Harry, and Tito (Stephanie) Guardiola; great-grandchildren, Cayden, Tanner, and Emery; sisters-in-law, Sally Hegeman, and Ronnel Hegeman; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, daughter Patricia, son Mike, grandson Noah, siblings, Walter Hegeman, Carol (Bud)Haas, Leonard Hegeman, and Gerald Hegeman.
Memorial Gathering with family on Thursday September 8, 2022, from 3-5 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street, Waterford, Wisconsin 53185. Mass will begin at 5:00 PM.
