Lee Donald Martin Hansen

Lee Donald Martin Hansen, Waterford, WI. born February 24, 1927 in New London, WI, suffered a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm while vacationing with his daughter in the Florida Keys on February 12, 2014. On February 25, 2014, the Lord took him home to be with him. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Ida (Giese) Hansen; two brothers, Ralph Hansen and Herbert Hansen Sr.; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth (Ken) Doran (Pete) Connelly, Rella (Harry) Hebbe (Harvey) Freund, Rosetta (Edgar) Lee (Ted) Hagen, and Genevieve (Al) Smith; his stepson Roger Skrentny and son-in-law Darwin Hoefert, Sr. He married Margaret Schmidt on April 24, 1956. After a divorce, he married Marian (Herrick) Skrentny on March 5, 1966. He is survived by his wife, Marian of Burlington, WI; his daughter, Susan Hoefert of Naples, FL; one sister-in-law, Leonora Hansen (Frank) Callaway of Madison, WI; two brothers-in-law, Eugene (Dorothy) Herrick and Norbert (Betty) Herrick, both of Milwaukee, WI; his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Dawn (Robert) Johnson (Anthony, Elizabeth) of Deerfield, WI; Laura Luebke (Mitchell, Alaina) of Milwaukee, WI; Dylan Hoefert (Kiah, Kezya) of West Bend, WI; Candace Hoefert of New Ulm, MN; Suzanne (Mario) Cristerna (Alejandro, Andres, David, Dominic) of Naples, FL; Darwin (Kelly) Hoefert (Jed, Matt) of Waukesha, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial Celebration of LeeÂ’s life will be held March 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Rivermoor Country Club, 30802 Waterford Dr, Waterford, WI 53185.
