Krautkramer, Lawrence M., “Larry” Age 77, died at home on Thursday, April 14th. He was born in Milwaukee, the son of the late Bernard and Johanna (nee.Rushka) Krautkramer. On February 19, 1939 he moved to the farm in the Town of Waterford where he has spent most of his life. Larry was a Waterford Union High School graduate of 1951. In 1955 he was drafted into the Army during the post Korean War Era where he was a part of the survey corps where he worked on Artillery Surveys. After returning from service to his country, Larry married Kay A. Milam on January 5, 1957 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Waterford. There he was a member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus. Larry was an usher in church; he also helped with bingo and banquets and with the fish fry. He worked with Milam Trucking and Culverts as an excavator for many years. He also worked at Trent Tube in East Troy for 10 years. Most of all, Larry loved to putter on his farm. He was an amazing metal fabricator. If he could envision a project with metal, he could make it happen. No project was too big for Larry. He always had time to help his neighbors. He is survived by his loving wife Kay, four children: Michael (Julie) of Racine, Debbie (Glen) Wood of Milwaukee, Kevin (Roxann) of Dallas, TX and Kal (Danielle) of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Nicole and Amanda Wood, David, Kyle, Cole, Tyler and Noelle Krautkramer, one sister: Lorraine Marini, one sister-in-law: Audrey Krautkramer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother: Sylvester. Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, April 18th at 6:00 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. 307 South First St., Waterford, WI. A memorial visitation with the family IN CHURCH on Monday from 4-6 PM. The public is invited to the Inurnment to be held on Thursday, April 21st at 12:00 Noon at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy memorials are suggested to Knights of Columbus of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for scholarships.
