Mrs. LaVerne H. Hintz

Hintz, LaVerne H. Age 89 of Racine formerly of Burlington, passed away at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee on May 26, 2010. She was born in Milwaukee on October 6, 1920, the daughter of the late Harry W. and Alvina (nee. Koplin) Prien. LaVerne was a 1938 graduate of a Milwaukee area high school. On May 24, 1941, she married Robert E. Hintz whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker all of her life, a former member of Elmbrook Church and a current member of Brooklife Church. She is survived by her children: Marsha (Wayne) Weeks of Racine, Mike (Marge) Hintz of Bryant, WI; Bob (Lynne) Hintz of Franklin; Cindy (Ed) Reed of Burlington and Jim Hintz of Neosha, WI. Further survived by fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Harry. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 5th 2:00 PM at First Church of God, 1650 Lathrop Ave in Racine. Inurnment will take place at Arlington Park Cemetery in Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to “Imagine Campaign” at Brooklife Church. The family wishes to send a Thank You to the staff at Home Harbor in Racine for their special care of MOM.
