Ms. LaVerne Carrington

Carrington, LaVerne C. Age 89 of Town of Norway passed away peacefully at her residence September 23, 2010. She was born on the family farm in the Town of Norway February 27, 1921 the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (nee. Nelson) Carrington. She attended Apple School, Waterford High School and Whitewater State Teachers College. LaVerne was a teacher for over 40 years in the Waterford and Burlington areas and was retired from Waller School in Burlington. Her second cousin Bonnie McNamara, and friends survive her. Proceeded in death by her parents, and one brother Nelson Carrington. Services will be held Monday September 27th at 11:00 AM at Norway Lutheran Church 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, and Visitation in church Monday 10-11 AM. Burial will take place in Norway Hill Cemetery following services. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Norway Lutheran Church.
