Mr. Kenneth Ken Rupert

Rupert, Kenneth R., Ken, Age 82, of Union Grove, formerly of Waterford, passed away at Wisconsin Veterans Home in Union Grove on August 9, 2012. Ken was born In Milwaukee on January 18, 1930, the son of the late Russell and Lorena (nee. Presteen) Rupert. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Upon returning from the war, he owned and operated Rupert Construction Company in Waterford with his brother, Douglas. Ken was a long time member of the VFW Post in Tichigan. He enjoyed fishing, bingo, woodworking and he loved to make bird houses. In his younger years Ken enjoyed taking vacations on a cruise ship. He is survived by his sister: Nancine Cornelius of Burlington, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Donald and Douglas. Services will be held in the Chapel at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street (Hwy C), Union Grove, WI on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Mealy Funeral Home, Inc.
