Kafer, Kenneth M. “Ken” Age 65, a lifelong resident of Waterford, was born to eternal life March 1, 2011. Ken was born June 9, 1945, son of the late Emil and Lucille (nee. Schmidt) Kafer. He married Janice Klein on December 8, 1979, in Milwaukee. Ken was a tool and die maker by trade, and was also an experienced carpenter and electrician. He enjoyed spending much of his time restoring classic cars. As a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church he was a past board member. Ken loved to spend time outdoors and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife Jan; children: Patti (Craig) Carus, Ruth (Tony) Librizzi, Tim Browne (Debbie), Tina (Mike) Larsen, Karen Gallitz, Tracy (Randy) Rea, Tim Kafer, Tammy (Chuck) Schneider; grandchildren: Sara, Jessica, Ashley, Kortni, Brittany, Brandon, Jeni, Rachel, Ricky, Josh, Brandi, Ronnie, Dustin, Kayla, Jason, Hannah, Maranda, Brandon, and great-granddaughter: Naomi; sister: Mary (Mike) Jasinski; niece: Heather (Lee) Rynders; nephew: Steve (Sarah) Flintrop; great-nephews, Zach, Levi, and great-nieces Rissa and Riley. Ken is further survived by his best buddy Benji, many other relatives and friends. His parents precede him in death. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 7:00 PM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church – Waterford. Visitation in the Church, Tuesday 3-6:45 PM.
