Kay A. Cleven

Kay Arlene Cleven, 83 years of age, resident of Menomonee Falls, WI and formerly of Rochester, WI, passed away on December 5, 2024.

She was born on October 29, 1941, in Milwaukee, WI. Kay attended New Lisbon High School and Gateway Technical College. On February 18, 1961, she was united in marriage to Duane E. Cleven. The two lived in Kenosha, WI for many years.

Kay was a lifelong church organist and member of Living Water Lutheran Church. In addition to her musical talent, she was an outstanding quiltmaker, seamstress, knitter and crocheter, a world-wide traveler, and had a busy social life with her large circle of friends. She will be missed by many.

Survived by her loving husband, Duane E. Cleven; daughters Candi (Michael) Aston, Michelle Cleven, and Jill (Tony) Camp; brothers and sisters Gary (Debbie) Johnson, Joan (Bob) Haschke, Glenn Voigtschild, Linda (Evans) Larson, and Greg (Shari) Voigtschild; grandchildren Danielle (Andy) Lewis, Caitlyn (Steve) Thompson, Kayla (Nate) Waggoner, Rebecca (Derek) Neuman, Liesl Prange, Trevor (Bria) Aston, and Morgan Prange; great-grandchildren Isla, Noah, Jack, Joey, Winnie, Emmy, River, and Briar; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Preceded in death by her mother Marveline (Richard) Voigtschild and her sister-in-law Susan Voigtschild.

Memorial visitation will be held 10AM-11:15AM Friday, December 13, 2024, at LIVING WATER LUTHERAN CHURCH (6525 Milwaukee Ave, Wind Lake WI 53185), with a funeral service to follow at 11:30AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Living Water Lutheran Church would be greatly appreciated. Kay’s family would like to specially thank the staff at Dixon Hollow and Brighton Hospice for their compassion and care.
