Foat, Kathleen A. “Kathy” age 69 of Waterford passed away peacefully at home with loving family at her side after a long battle from Cancer on February 7, 2022. Born in Burlington Wisconsin the daughter of Arnold and Julie (nee. Mehring) Himebauch. She grew up on the family farm in Waterford where she attended St. Thomas graded school and graduated Waterford High School. She went on to school in Milwaukee to obtain her cosmetology license. On September 5, 1981, she married Greg Foat in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Kathy was a homemaker and worked for 12+ years for UPS before retirement. A proud member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church she assisted with Turkey Dinners, Sunday School and sat on the Fellowship Board. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling whether it be to the Northwoods or a tropical destination to escape the Wisconsin winters. Kathy and Greg also enjoyed motorcycle rides in the country as well, but most of all she enjoyed the company of her loving family, especially her grandchildren.
Survived by her loving husband Greg, Mother: Julie Himbauch, Children: Casey (Eric) Dietz, Cory (John) Mamerow, Garrett (Ashley) Foat. Grandchildren: Elliott Dietz, Beckham Mamerow, Harper and Harrison Foat, her sister and brothers survive: Shirley (Dave) Baumeister, Greg (LuAnn) Himebauch and Dale (Kathy) Himebauch, also survived by brothers-in-law: Gary (Kim) Foat and Grant Foat. Further survived by other relatives and countless friends.
Preceded in death by her father: Arnold “Arnie” Himebauch, Mother and Father-in-law: Herbert and Jean Foat Along with brother-in-law Guy Foat.
Visitation will be held Monday February 14th from 3-7 PM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church 145 South Sixth street, Waterford. Services will begin at 7:00 PM in Church. PUBLIC burial will take place on Tuesday February 15th at 10:00 AM at Rochester Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested by the family to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or St. Jude’s Hospital. Family thanks Kim and staff of Aurora Hospice, and a special heartfelt Thank you to her sister Shirley for the last few months of endless love and care for Kathy.
