Jennifer Garibaldi

We are sad to announce the passing of Jennifer Joy Garibaldi, 45 years old, of Genesee, WI on March 10, 2024 after a long 10 year battle of cancer at home.

Jenny was born on November 6, 1978 in Cudahy, WI to Cindy and Keith Burr. In her youth she was a girl scout, ran track and played tennis. She graduated from Oak Creek High School and received a hospital administration degree from UW-Milwaukee.
 
She enjoyed living in Wauwatosa and Genesee, with her husband Tom Garibaldi. She loved hiking the various parts of the Ice Age Trail, reading (a lot!), watching tv shows and movies, but the best thing was spending time with Tommy and Grace.

Jennifer worked at Assurant Insurance as a QA investigator where she met many life long friends.

She said in her final requests, "My children were my best accomplishment and loves of my life. They made my life better and gave me my reason to fight on, even when it was getting hard." "I tried as hard as I could for as long as I could, I love everyone."

• She joins Elaine, Sherwin, Susan, Mikey, Andy, Shelly & Stephanie Burr, Sheralyn Burr Dupree,  Chuck & Arlene, Charles & Ryan Nass and many others who are in Heaven with Jesus.

Celebration of Life will be held 1PM-2:45PM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (470 N. Oak Crest Dr. Wales, WI 53183), with a funeral service to follow at 3PM, with Pastor Aaron Boerst officiating the service for the Garibaldi family. Food & fellowship to follow the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Jen’s honor appreciated to Autism charity of your choice, Cancer of America or HAWS.
