Mrs. Jean M. Benavides

Benavides, Jean Mae, of Waterford passed away suddenly at the age of 66 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 27, 2014. Jean was born on May 26, 1948 to Neal and Mae Rosenholm in Burlington. She spent her early life in Burlington where she graduated from Burlington High School. After high school she attended University of Madison where she completed her nursing degree. In 1969 she married John Benavides and moved to Waterford where she raised her 3 children.
Jean enjoyed bowling and golf but most of all loved spending time with her 6 grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her spouse John; children Jeffrey (Melanie), Jill (Troy), Jada (Shane); brother Jim (MaryAnn); grandchildren Jasmyne, Mitchell, Megan, Logan, Jase, Jersie; and her beloved dog Holly. She is further survived by nephews Jason and Jake, other loving relatives and many friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Mealy Funeral Home – 225 West Main Street, Waterford, WI 53185. Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM until time of services at Mealy funeral Home. There will be a private family burial at a later date at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Park.
