Mr. James "Jim" McFadden

McFadden, James W., “Jim”, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 21, 2013. Jim was born in Milwaukee, the son of the late Ralph and Clara (nee. Putz) McFadden. He spent his early life in Milwaukee and graduated from Rufus King High School. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Marquette University. On June 28, 1947, Jim married Betty J. Freund in Milwaukee. They moved to Waterford in 1959. Jim worked as a salesman, and he enjoyed golf, tennis, fishing and basketball when he wasn’t working. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty. Also surviving are their four children: Linda McFadden of Sparta, WI; Susan McFadden (Jef) Abbott of Waterford; Jim (Cory) McFadden of Waterford and Nancy (Kirk) McFarlin of Whitefish Bay, and four grandchildren: Joshua, Ella, Jack and Molly; one brother: Gary (Gale) McFadden of Jackson, WI; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. Memorial Services celebrating Jim’s life will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 5:00 pm with Chaplain Angie Alesci officiating. Visitation will be held prior to services in the Funeral Home from 2-5 pm on Wednesday.
