Reesman, Idyll June, age 86 of Tichigan Lake, passed away on September 12, 2008 at Mount Carmel Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Burlington, WI. Idyll was born in Clarksville, TN to Charles and Charlia (Debord) Caudill on May 7, 1922. She moved to the Union Grove/Paris area as a young child, moving to Racine from 1948 to 1967 when they moved to Tichigan Lake. On July 20, 1940 she was united in marriage to Leroy R. Reesman whom preceded her in death on November 6, 1996. Idyll was employed by Nelson Bros. & Strom Co. during WWII. Years after the war, she went to work part time at Piggly Wiggly Supermarkets for 25 years. In her spare time, Idyll enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, traveling, cooking and gardening. Idyll is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Doris Donalies of Antigo, Nancy (Jim) Andersen of Rochester, Sally Reesman of Burlington, daughter in-law Laurida Reesman of Gurnee, IL. Idyll was blessed with ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Special companion William Rauth of Tichigan Lake, one sister Mary Erickson and two brothers Flem (Nellie) Caudill and Ira (Helen) Caudill. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Leroy R. Reesman, son Robert W. Reesman, sister and brother-in-law Eula (Marvin) Nelson, sister-in-law Betty Caudill. Visitation and memorial services to be held Thursday September 18, 2008 starting at 12:00 noon at West Lawn Memorial Park chapel, 9000 Washington Avenue, Racine, WI.
