Mrs Ida Miller

July 26, 1932 — April 10, 2012

Miller, Ida Mary Age 79 of Wind Lake passed away peacefully on her farm with family at her side April 4, 2012. Born in Palmyra Wisconsin July 26, 1932 the daughter of the late Leslie and Olga (nee Raudwer) Stockman. Her family moved to Merrill Wisconsin where she had graduated high school. Ida went on to nursing school to become a CNA. On September 1, 1951 in the Catholic Church of Gesu in Milwaukee she married Robert J. “Bob” Miller. The couple lived in Milwaukee, New Berlin, and West Allis and in 1974 moved to the farm in Wind Lake. Ida taught Catechism classes in West Allis and was a current member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church where she was a Holy Sewer helping with Vestments and spending her Friday nights helping with Church Fish Fry’s. Ida volunteered many hours at Career’s Industries in Burlington helping others. Ida loved her farm where she spent much time with her Palomino Horse Tiny and all of her favorite farm animals including her dog Bernie. According to her family she had a great sense of humor even when in pain, and she was always a loving wife and mother. Survived by her husband Robert J. “Bob” Miller ; four children: Harley Miller, Nancy Solin, Judy(Bill) Basham and Susie Miller, Grandchildren: Shane Taylor, Cindy Miller, Samantha Boneck, Elizabeth Suwyn, Nathan Basham, Katie Basham and Daniel Gawrysiak. Great Grandchildren: Natalie Rivera and Jaden Rogers. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceeded in death by her parents, and two sons: Robert and Donald Miller. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday April 10, 2012 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 307 South First Street, Waterford. Visitation in church 9-10:45 AM Tuesday. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy family suggests memorials to either Career’s Industries in Burlington or Countryside Humane Society in Racine would be appreciated. Mealy Funeral Home, Inc.
