Kotlowski, Howard F., age 86, passed away peacefully in his Waterford home surrounded by family on July 6, 2017. Howard was born in Milwaukee on September 25, 1930, the son of the late Edward and Ernestine (nee. Czarnecki) Kotlowski. After graduating Nathan Hale High School he attended Marquette University. He was then drafted to serve his country in the U.S. Army and later the Army Reserves. Upon his return, he completed a business degree, graduating from the University of Wisconsin. On December 27, 1958 in Ripon, Wisconsin, Howard married Lois A. Mathia. Howard worked for many years as a sales executive for Patrick Cudahy and John Morrell, along with other meat packaging companies before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed golf, loved to travel, and later in life he became the family handyman. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Howard is survived by his loving wife Lois, two sons: Pete and Ken Kotlowski; sisters: Carol Doyle and Joan (Richard) King; brother-in-law: Robert (Joan) Mathia, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother-in-law: Bill Doyle.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street, Waterford, WI 53185. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Entombment will take place at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, 3801 South 6th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53221 on Thursday, July 13 at 11:00 AM - meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Howard.
