Mrs. Helen Westness

Westness, Helen 90, passed away peacefully at her daughter Paulette Klose’ home in Waterford, Monday June 29th. She was born in Lessor, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Anton and Andrena Jommen. Helen spent her early life in Gillett Wisconsin. On September 17, 1941 she married Harold Rudolph Westness whom preceded her in death. Helen was formerly of Oconto area of Shawano County, living the past 4.5 years in Waterford. She worked for 20 years with Wisconsin Electric, also worked for some time as a waitress, and was a full time homemaker. Helen was An Avid Bowler; She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Cecil for many years. While living in the Waterford Area she enjoyed knitting sweaters for charity at Norway Lutheran Church of Wind Lake. Survived by Daughter Paulette Klose of Waterford, Granddaughters: Kym (Paul) Farr, Kelly (Cory) O’Donnell, Kristene Klose and Kari (Ty) Manicke, Ten great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends Proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Westness and her son Gary Westness along with son-in-law Richard Klose. Services will be held Friday July 3, 2009 12:00 Noon at Bethel Lutheran Church N6955 County Road BB in Oconto Falls Wisconsin with Reverend Tina Scheuller officiating. Visitation will be in Church Friday 11-12. Burial will be in the churches cemetery following services.
