Mrs. Helen Spesak

Spesak, Helen I., age 78, of West Allis, formerly of Waterford, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 with her loving daughters by her side. Helen was born in Butternut, WI on March 22, 1935, the daughter of the late Carl and Martha (nee. Teschner) Scharp. In August of 1965 she married Joseph B. Spesak in Ashland, WI. Joseph passed away on December 28, 1994. Helen was a home maker and loved to spend time at the Burlington Senior Center and recently at the West Allis Senior Center. Helen loved to walk the streets of Waterford, visiting her favorite restaurants. She also enjoyed music and traveling. Helen is survived by four loving daughters: Gloria (Steve) Rios of Milwaukee, Phyllis (Khay) Spesak-Khong of Milwaukee, Tina Kloss of Jefferson and Judith Spesak of Lee’s Summit, MO. She is also survived by grandchildren: Kayla, Steven and Kassie, one brother: Bernard, favorite K-9 buddy: Ju Ju, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Joseph and one brother: Edward. Services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 12:00 noon in the Funeral Home. Visitation on Saturday from 10-11:45 AM. Burial in St. Thomas Cemetery following services. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorials be made to the Milwaukee Humane Society.
