Plegge, Grace Bertha age 82, of Kenosha, was peacefully called home from her sleep to meet her Heavenly Father on March 7, 2017.
Grace was born July 20, 1934 in Zion, Illinois to parents Ernest and Edna Peters. She was a woman filled with fiery spirit and adventure. Her favorite pastime was fishing with Tony, her husband of 51 years. She loved to fish and always had a great fishing tale to tell. Grace loved to cook for her family, especially German cookies and candies. She was also an avid collector. Her collections included an extensive doll collection, antiques and jewelry. She was quite the shopper and could always find a bargain.
In her later years, Grace took great pride in watching her grandchildren grow into the incredible adults they each have become. She truly enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren as well.
She is survived by her husband Tony, her children: George Luccas, Brian (Pam) Luccas, Dr. Bruce (Mary) Luccas, Tina (Brian Ingeson) Luccas, and Ernest Luccas; her grandchildren: Christopher, Aaron, Michael, Jimmy, Matthew, Elise (Jason Watson), Marina, Gabrielle (Zachary Kieson), Jake, Brandon, Zach, Brandon, Aubrey; great-grandchildren: Alice and Sera; and her step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; niece and close friend: Linda Alshouse; other relatives and friends.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Edna Peters, a special Aunt and Uncle Clayton and Florence Alshouse and daughter in law Bonnie Luccas.
Visitation Saturday March 11, 2017 from 11-12 Noon in the funeral home, with services starting at 12:00 Noon. Entombment Monday March 13 11:00 AM at Mt Olivet Cemetery in Zion, Illinois.
