Curnow, Gladys 92, Indianapolis IN, formerly of Wind Lake, WI died peacefully on February 26, 2009. She was born on November 3, 1916 in Rhos, Wales, the daughter of Henry and Maria Pritchard. After coming to America in 1927, they settled in Detroit Area, On September 22, 1937 she married Harry Wilson, who preceded her in death 1938. On July 17, 1948 she married Ernest Curnow, and they moved to Wind Lake, WI. It was there that she worked in Food Service for the Muskego Schools and was active in the Altar Guild at Norway Lutheran Church. In 2003 she moved to Indianapolis to be nearer to her family and lived at Marquette Manor. She is survived by her son Harry (Alice), Carmel IN; grandchildren Scott (Cindy) Curnow, Fishers IN, Kristin (Jason) Darko, Indianapolis IN, Karen (Matt) Halkyard, Glen Ellyn IL, Kelly Curnow, Austin TX; and great grandchildren: Emily, Kevin and Stacy Curnow; Tom, Will and Liz Halkyard. In addition to her first husband, her parents, her husband Ernest and all four of her siblings preceded her in death: John, Emlyn, William and Dorcas. Visitation will be held at Norway Lutheran Church Wednesday March 4, from 10-12 with services in church at Noon. Burial in the church cemetery following services.
