Mr. Gerald Downey

Gerald Downey "Jerry" Former owner of Jerry's Outdoor Sports Center in Burlington passed away at age 80, peacefully with family by his side on Friday, May 31, 2013. His parents, daughter (Julie Bierman) and grandson (Joshua Coss) preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, sons Steven, Timothy (Denise), and daughter Lori (Mark) Poole, step-sons Michael Kafura, Anthony (Jackie) Kafura, step-daughters Theresa Nehring and Jennifer (Adam) Wolke. Dear grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Virginia Minier and Patricia (Bill) Strock and many other relatives and friends. Memorial gathering 4 to 6 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas 305 S. First Str. Waterford, Thursday, June 13, 2013. Memorial mass to follow gathering
