Mr. George Peter Schubert

Schubert, George Peter, age 72, of Wind Lake, passed away peacefully at The Bay of Burlington Care Center with his loving family by his side on February 18, 2019. George was born in Milwaukee to George E. and Lorraine (nee. Giese) Schubert on December 21, 1946. He graduated from Michigan Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geological Engineering. George began working as a foundation inspector and married his childhood friend, Ann Louise Strohschein on October 19, 1970 in Naperville, IL. His job took them to California, Richmond, VA, and finally settled down in Wind Lake, WI in 1978. George was interested in French Voyageurs, reenacting the Fur Trade era in WI, wood carving and reading.
George is survived by his loving wife, Ann, son: Adam (Mishal), grandson: Oliver, and brother: Kenneth (Sandra).
George is preceded in death by his parents.
A Graveside Inurnment will take place at Norway Hill Cemetery on Monday March 18, 2019, at 11:30 A.M. (please meet in the cemetery) with a light lunch to follow in Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Rd, Wind Lake, WI 53185.
